Funding submissions are invited from community organisations for the establishment and provision of a Statewide Self-Advocacy Resource Unit. Submission specifications are available to download. Closing date for submissions is 4pm Friday 11 April 2008. Late, incomplete, emailed or facsimiled submissions will not be accepted.

The Senior Practitioner is responsible for ensuring that the rights of people who are subject to restrictive interventions and compulsory treatment are protected, and that appropriate standards in relation to restrictive interventions and compulsory treatment are complied with. The Senior Practitioner has extensive powers to set standards and guidelines, and monitor disability service providers in relation to the use of restrictive interventions and compulsory treatment.
